Crystal Caravan (GEN) Jamjar inspired by Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicle, with a dash of Mad Max and Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak.
In a world shrouded by frequent storms that wipes the memories of anyone caught in it, the only protection is magic crystals that produce fields of safety. Most of these crystals are used to protect cities, but a few are placed in huge caravans that allow trade to exist. Most caravans have a massive single vehicle at the heart that houses the crystal itself and also acts as like a mobile base. It contains a lot of cargo but also like bunks and bathrooms and mess halls and such. Then players can also get their own vehicles that they can wildly customize to be a little home of their own. New characters wander out of the storms, their minds clouded so they don't remember how they got here. It's a sacred duty of the Caravans to rescue such people. Emphasis customizing your own little living space, and also exploration as the caravan discovers strange stuff hidden by the storms. Also like monsters and raiders can attack and etc etc etc.
Rest and Recuperation (NSFW) Jamjar inspired by Space Rescue: Code Pink
An automated spaceship travels between universes searching for people who have been caught in space warps and trapped in the void. Players are rescued from the void, but need to spend a few months recuperating from Void Sickness, a condition that can have all kinds of effects, from cold sweats and weakness to nightmares and agoraphobia. The best cure for Void Sickness is, you guessed it, physical intimacy! So the game focuses around robots on the ship trying to encourage players to hook up with each other while players focus on repairing the ship, which is kind of beat up. Events roll around as players fix up various systems on the ship and unlock new capabilities.
Some monster wiped out a fort leaving just one single dorf and the player characters are new "migrants" pulled from their homes to help repopulate. They are treated as dwarves despite not being dwarves.
Everyone is assigned a labor or set of labors based on skills. Every so often a new wave of migrants comes. Events are caravans, sieges, mega snd forgotten beast attacks, with a combo of standard Dwarf Fortress stuff and things taken from people's worlds.
Gensokyo (GEN) I don't have a snappy title. It's Touhou. An Incident is causing people to get warped across the boundary and into Gensokyo, where Touhou happens.
- Explore a setting with a whole lot of weird and interesting places with odd vibes - Everyone can use touhou style magic so learn to fly and dodge magical bullets in low stakes sky battles - Drink copiously and hang out with chill vibes - Anyone playing characters from Touhou are just already there, no need to be jamjarred in - I can come up with like twelve prompts and as many 'NPCs' easy for this I'm not playing
As a test drive of something I plan to do later, as well as a meme for now...
